An ombre spring manicure! I never wear yellow… so I thought I’d try. Hope these don’t look too much like egg yolks… or PEEPS!

I’ve been seeing a lot of cloud manicures out there and they are super cute! I thought I’d give it a try with a new twist. Check out my Roy Lichtenstein inspired comic cloud manicure :)

I got a little psycho with the glitter… but it like it! Loose green glitter is layered ombre style over blue green polish with thick topcoat.

A springy pink manicure. I have been lemming for Sally Hansen’s Hidden Treasure… but it is nowhere to be found in my local hunting grounds. Soooo I ordered its supposed dupe: Nubar 2010. I don’t have Hidden Treasure to compare it to, but it doesn’t matter! I LOVE 2010….oh it is so pretty and dimensional! Pics are not doing it justice! When painting it on, it layers in a way like I’m performing some alchemy and witching up a little opal on my fingernail. Beautiful!

Feather Manicure over China Glaze’s Cyberspace from the Tronica collection. It looks amazing in person. I can’t wait to try different feathers and color combinations!
Supplies:
*I am going to be using this product sparingly due to its nasty chemical formula. But for this type of manicure a THICK topcoat is necessary. I’m on the hunt for a Seche Vite replacement - if you know of one, let me know!

Monarch butterfly wing style manicure. Yes I painted these all by hand!
Colors Used: Too many to list, but several OPI and Pure Ice colors were involved.
Hand painted with a tiny brush & dotting tool.

Hot pink! Playing around with the chess pieces at the ice cream shop. That is one of my favorite rings too!

Happy St. Patrick’s day! I know I’m early, but I wanted to try something new. I don’t wear a lot of greens - but this turned out alright :-)

My Lady Gaga inspired manicure! I built off the image from the “Born This Way” single cover. I wanted to keep it mostly grey-scale but with accent colors and lots of flash of course… Enjoy!

The best most fun way to dry your nails (and cool your humid summer apartment). A 1960’s oscillating table fan. That thing hauls some air :)

It seems the polish hoarding addiction has spread. This is a friend of mine’s latest manicure!

Yummy! Black and gold manicure. This one was easy - but still tough to decide what color to layer under OPI’s coveted new Black Shatter. I decided to go with gold! I started with a white base coat, gold, then the shatter coat.
This is a fun polish. Thanks to my sweet co-workers I got a bottle before Ulta sold out!
